Job Title

Foreman: Overall responsibility - perform needed tasks and direct crew to move the project as a whole forward towards completion in a productive, safe, and correct manner. Specific tasks: * Become familiar with project plans, site, and requirements to reach the final product. * Be able to shoot and confirm grades as needed. * Operate equipment and direct other operators as needed. * Be able to speak with customers and other contractors about current job progress and anticipated items that are at a minimum specific to that project. * Direct crew on safety items and issues. * Productive use of crew assets that move project forward in a cost effective manner. * Fill out paperwork properly so payroll and job progress can be monitored and administered. * Keep overall watch on large and small equipment, for care and maintenance and direct crew based on those observations.
