This is a fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives on problem-solving, communication, and keeping freight moving on time.Position SummaryThe Logistics Coordinator will manage shipments from start to finish, working closely with carriers, drivers, and customers to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of freight.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and schedule shipments (FTL, LTL, bulk, hazmat, etc.)Source and assign carriers based on load requirementsDispatch loads and communicate instructions to driversTrack and trace shipments from pickup through deliveryProvide updates to customers and internal teamsResolve delays, issues, or service disruptions quicklyEnsure compliance with safety and transportation regulationsEnter and maintain load details in the systemBuild and maintain strong relationships with carriersAssist with rate confirmations, load coverage, and planningQualifications1-3+ years of logistics, transportation, or trucking experience preferredExperience in dispatching, brokerage, or 3PL environment is a plusStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced settingDetail-oriented and organizedBasic computer skills; TMS experience a plusWhat You'll Be Doing DailyBooking trucks and covering loadsCommunicating with drivers and carriersTracking shipments and updating customers#WorkWithAMMONHandling issues and keeping freight on scheduleWhy This Role MattersThis position plays a key role in ensuring freight moves safely, efficiently, and on time-supporting both customer satisfaction and operational success.
