As well as deliveries to customers in a delivery van or truck.Essential Job Functions:45% - Serves as primary back-up delivery driver: Loads truck with products to be delivered to customers; organizes delivery tickets according to daily schedule. Professionally delivers products to customers within specified schedule; works with customer service to resolve any issues with orders. Loads/unloads delivery vehicle manually or with appropriate equipment. Picks up products from customers to be returned for credit and delivers back to warehouse. Processes delivery paperwork in accordance with procedures. Inspects and maintains assigned vehicles; reports any mechanical problems.30% - Stocks and maintains inventory in warehouse; operates equipment, including forklifts, to move inventory to different warehouse locations. Locates and retrieves specified items from inventory to fill customer orders; lays product out in packing area and inspects for accuracy to order. Prepares and packs orders to ensure minimal damage during transit. Organizes orders by customer and by driver or route code.10% - Provides back-up assistance for parcel shipping and receiving. 5% - Cleans and maintains work areas and warehouse in general.5% - Provides assistance with screenprint operations and inspection, packing, and shipping of client orders in the promotional, apparel, and print categories.5% - Other duties as assigned.Experience:Minimum of one year warehouse / distribution related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift experience required - current certification a plus; a valid driver's license and good driving record required.Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Ability to safely lift, move, and position heavy items (often 50-70lbs.) with or without assistanceExperience with warehouse workflows: receiving, staging, picking, packing, and shippingWorking knowledge of inventory accuracy and material handling best practicesAbility to read and follow pick tickets, delivery manifests, and work ordersFamiliarity with warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, carts, dollies; forklifts)Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and damage preventionAbility to maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environmentEducation:High school or GED diploma
