This position is contingent on program award expected early Q2 2026 This position is for a Software Systems Engineer supporting the Space Software Product Line Mobile User Objective System Service Life Extension /(MUOS SLE/) Flight Software Team/. This role will support the entire flight software development lifecycle /(design, integration, test/) for the Bus and Payload Flight Software domains/. Responsibilities could include working in a collaborative environment interacting with peers, other SSPL FSW, SmartSat team members, and occasional customer interactions/. This includes supporting the development of Specifications and Interface Control Documents, test scenarios to test new capability or verify defect fix, and participating in system testing activities with other organizations/. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits/. **Schedule for this Position:** 9x80 every other Friday off **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York /(excluding most major metropolitan areas/), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $93,200 /- $164,450/.
