$21.96 - $32.94 Hourly$45,680 - $68,520 AnnuallyThis position is a Pay Band C5Posting DetailsThe General Services Department (GSD) supports the operations of state government by providing essential services, including procurement, risk management, facilities management, transportation services, and printing services. The Transportation Services Division (TSD), State Centralized Fleet Authority Bureau (SCFA) manages the state's fleet of vehicles, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation solutions for state agencies. TSD provides vehicle leasing, maintenance, fuel services, and fleet management expertise to support government operations statewide.This posting will be used for ongoing recruitment and may close at any time. Why does the job exist?To provide specialized support and customer service in the highly automated environment in our Albuquerque Short Term Leasing office of the State Centralized Fleet Authority Bureau of the Transportation Services Division. How does it get done?Key responsibilities include:- Process walk-up and on-line reservations. - Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles.- Ensure vehicles are ready for dispatch. - Verify driver licenses and defensive driving certificates. - Ensure assigned user agency takes care of repair and maintenance of vehicles, monthly mileage reporting, audit assigned user department fuel data for unauthorized usage and expenses. Who are the customers?Executive and Judicial agencies Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have:- Experience in Vehicle Fleet.- Experience with Program and Data management.- Experience dealing with customers. Minimum QualificationHigh School diploma or Equivalency and two (2) years of experience in office administration, budgeting, purchasing, finance, accounting, auditing, cash management, contract management, and/or the procedures of business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling two (2) years may substitute for the required experience. Employment RequirementsMust possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment. This is a safety sensitive position and subject to random drug testing. Working ConditionsWork is performed in an office setting.
