A Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with expertise in critical care, ventilator management, and neonatal/pediatric respiratory care is needed for a contract assignment in Carbondale, CO. This role involves providing advanced respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU support. The schedule is two 12-hour day shifts per week with no on-call responsibilities, allowing for both professional focus and personal balance. Key Qualifications: NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (CRT not accepted) Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license (DORA-RT) Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy program Current American Heart Association certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (AAP) - all required Minimum of 5 years respiratory therapy experience, including Level 2 NICU and pediatric care Established traveler with previous experience; first-time travelers will not be considered Demonstrated ability in critical care and ventilator management for adult and pediatric patients Responsibilities: Deliver respiratory therapy for patients across all acuity levels, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults Manage ventilators and provide expert critical care interventions Perform diagnostic cardiopulmonary procedures as needed Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols Location Highlights: Carbondale, CO, is a scenic mountain community known for its outdoor recreational opportunities and friendly atmosphere.
