Job descriptionWarehouse Freight Supervisor - Reno NVPosition OverviewAlliance Nationwide Exposition is seeking a Warehouse Freight Supervisor to oversee all inbound and outbound freight operations at our Reno warehouse. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring daily reporting to the warehouse. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in managing freight for events and trade shows.Key Responsibilities• Maintain a clear understanding of all freight moving in and out of the warehouse, ensuring accurate documentation and organization for each event.• Use the OnDock freight tracking system to log and manage all incoming shipments.• Verify labeling and organization of freight to align with event requirements.• Reweigh shipments as needed for accuracy.• Supervise loading of all freight bound for show sites, ensuring each event's materials are complete.• Confirm all required documentation accompanies outbound shipments.• Oversee the receipt, verification, and documentation of returning freight after events.• Record weights and dimensions and communicate details to the Logistics Manager.• Work closely with the Logistics Manager to coordinate freight activity.• Report discrepancies or issues promptly and ensure clear communication across the team.Qualifications• Proven experience in warehouse, logistics, or freight operations.• Familiarity with freight tracking systems and documentation processes.• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.• Ability to work on-site daily at the Reno's warehouse.Note: This job description outlines the general duties and qualifications of the role and may be revised as needed.
