Job OverviewThe Manager, Operational Performance is responsible for labor forecasting, staffing efficiency, and workforce cost control. This role translates demand and volume into optimized staffing plans while identifying opportunities to improve productivity and reduce overtime. Drives data-driven decision making by delivering actionable insights, dashboards, and contract health assessments. This role ensures visibility into performance trends and early identification of operational risks.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain labor forecasts and staffing modelsAnalyze actual vs budgeted labor hours and cost variancesOptimize full-time vs part-time staffing mixIdentify overtime drivers and recommend corrective actionsPartner with field leaders on scheduling and staffing adjustmentsSupport cross-training and skill optimization initiativesProvide labor insights for monthly and quarterly reviewsDesign and maintain KPI, SLA, and productivity dashboardsLead contract health scoring and performance reportingIdentify trends, risks, and early-warning indicatorsPrepare monthly operational and executive performance reviewsSupport root-cause analysis for underperforming locationsStandardize metrics, definitions, and reporting processesPartner with operations leaders to translate data into actionSupport station leadership during periods of operational need, including temporarily assisting at airport locations for defined timeframes to stabilize operations, address performance issues, or support new contract implementations.Success MeasuresImproved SLA and KPI performance across operational sitesIncreased operational visibility and data-driven decision makingReduced surprise escalations and service failuresFaster issue detection and resolution through proactive performance monitoringReduced labor cost as a percentage of revenueImproved workforce utilization and productivity per labor hourLower overtime and premium pay through optimized staffing strategiesStronger staffing alignment with operational demand and contract requirementsImproved operational consistency and service quality across airport locationsTravelAbility and willingness to travel to multiple airport stations as required.
