Key Responsibilities: Administer physician-prescribed respiratory treatments using invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment, oxygen delivery, aerosol, and nebulizer devices. Conduct chest physiotherapy, patient suctioning (oropharyngeal, nasal, tracheal), and tracheostomy care including emergency and routine tube management. Perform diagnostic and monitoring procedures including 12-Lead EKGs, arrhythmia recognition, oximetry, capnography, pulmonary function studies, and review chest x-rays. Assist with respiratory-related procedures such as bronchoscopy, percutaneous tracheostomy, chest tube placement, and pleural drainage. Perform arterial punctures to assess ventilation efficiency and carry out cardiopulmonary resuscitation per BLS and ACLS standards.
