Passion for logistics, transportation, and sales Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, data entry) Ability to stay informed and adapt to industry trends Self-motivated and career-driven mindset A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Responsibilities: Negotiate with carriers to enhance profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities Schedule and coordinate shipments while addressing issues that arise during transit Audit carrier freight invoices and bills of lading (BOLs) for accuracy before payment Dispatch drivers and ensure smooth pickups and deliveries Build and maintain a strong carrier network to support business growth and pricing strategies Source new carrier partnerships and negotiate competitive rates Make 60-80 daily outbound calls to develop carrier relationships and maintain coverage Keep carrier data current in TMS, including rates and contact info Use transportation management systems (TMS) and software tools to improve workflow and planning Why This Job?
