Job Title: Coordinator - Shipping, Receiving and Mail ServicesJob Summary: This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Kauffman Stadium Shipping, Receiving, and Mail Services. This includes properly screening incoming mail, maintaining office supply inventories, completing time sensitive mailings, receiving large shipping pallets, coordination of goods storage, and helping with other tasks as assigned.Position Accountabilities/Responsibilities:Daily inspection and sorting of all incoming mail to Kauffman StadiumPromote a safe workspace with extra training in mail screeningMaintain office supply inventories and logs for supplies in the mail roomReceiving and logging all incoming mail and packagesPreparing items to be mailed from Kauffman StadiumComplete large mailings often with tight deadlinesTimely delivery of mail throughout the stadium.Receiving bulk item deliveries for giveaways and other needs.Maintaining logs of locations and inventories of items stored.Maintaining a working knowledge of current and former employee namesCreate working relationships with UPS, FedEx, USPS, Amazon, Quadiant, Lineage, and other Shipping services.Other duties as assignedPosition Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Mail Room or office setting1 year office experience preferredProficient in Microsoft applications including Word and ExcelExperience in using forklift and pallet jack preferredStrong time management & organizational skillsEffective writing, telephone & verbal communication skillsAble to work independently or in a team environment & prioritize and handle multiple projectsAble to work in high-pressure environmentPossess a superb professional attitude that is customer service orientedAbility to effectively collaborate across the entire organizationAvailable to work weekdays 9am-5pmPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift items weighing as much as 50 pounds Must be able to work in a seated position for majority of workdayMust be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephoneMust be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at timesMust be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, concourse, etc.Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event schedulingThe physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
