As a Transportation Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient flow of product through our distribution center. You'll lead a team of associates, uphold performance standards, and collaborate across departments to deliver exceptional service to our retail partners and customers.In this role, you'll partner closely with the Operations Manager and cross-functional teams-including Transportation and Inventory Management-to meet production goals, improve processes, and create a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Coach, develop, and hold associates accountable through performance planning, feedback, and recognition.Develop TalentAssist with hiring, onboarding, training, and developing new and existing associates to build a high-performing team.Drive Operational ExcellencePartner with Receiving, Shipping, Transportation, and Inventory Management to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely product flow in and out of the distribution center.Optimize Staffing & ProductivityMonitor daily staffing levels, assign labor management tasks, and adjust resources to meet production demands.Ensure Safety, Accuracy & ComplianceEnforce company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Communicate and administer corrective action when necessary.Lead Communication & CollaborationHold departmental meetings, communicate shift updates, and coordinate with other departments to minimize operational disruptions.Champion Continuous ImprovementIdentify waste and inefficiencies, recommend process improvements, and act as a "change agent" for lean practices. Help foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Support Business GoalsHelp achieve departmental operational and budget goals.
