Level 3 Vehicle Operator (Autonomous Vehicles)Location: San FranciscoWork Environment: In-PersonPay Rate: $29.00 per hourJob Type: Contract | Full-Time (30+ hours/week)OverviewWe are looking to hire a Level 3 Vehicle Operator supporting autonomous vehicle testing, fleet operations, and real-world driving validation.This role is critical to the safe testing and deployment of self-driving vehicle systems, supporting engineering teams with vehicle operations, data collection, system monitoring, and operational feedback.The ideal candidate is a safety-focused professional driver with strong communication skills, technical awareness, and the ability to operate vehicles for extended periods while supporting autonomous vehicle development programs.Compensation & Shift IncentivesBase Pay: $29.00/hourWeekend Shift Bonus: +5% hourly premiumNight Shift Bonus: +2% hourly premiumWeekend Night Shift Bonus: Up to +7% total hourly premiumShift SchedulesDay Shifts5:45 AM – 2:15 PM6:45 AM – 3:15 PM7:45 AM – 4:15 PMNight Shifts (TOP PRIORITY - FAST HIRING)1:45 PM – 10:15 PM2:45 PM – 11:15 PM3:45 PM – 12:15 AM5:45 PM – 2:00 AMAvailable WorkdaysWednesday – SundayThursday – MondayFriday – TuesdaySaturday – WednesdayAdditional overnight schedules may be available.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate autonomous test vehicles safely on public roads and testing routesDrive 4–8 hours per shift while monitoring vehicle behavior and road conditionsSupport autonomous vehicle testing operations and fleet deploymentPerform basic software interaction and system diagnosticsDocument vehicle performance data, operational metrics, and test observationsProvide written and verbal feedback to engineering and operations teamsConduct daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance checksMaintain vehicle readiness, safety compliance, and cleanlinessAssist with vehicle logistics, fleet staging, and equipment organizationSupport cross-functional teams including vehicle engineering, computer vision, infrastructure, and ride operationsRequired Qualifications ( Must Have)Valid driver’s license with clean driving recordAbility to drive for extended periods (4–8 hours daily)Strong understanding of road safety and defensive drivingBasic technical troubleshooting and software interaction skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocolsComfortable documenting testing observations, vehicle performance, and operational reportsReliable, punctual, and comfortable working rotating shifts, evenings, and weekendsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent technical or field operations experienceExperience in vehicle testing, fleet operations, transportation services, or ride-hailingMilitary, logistics, or technical operations backgroundFamiliarity with ADAS systems, autonomous vehicle technology, or mobility platformsHow to Apply Submit your updated CV and complete the screening questions.
