Location: Hybrid - Lancaster, Palmdale, Phelan, Desert Hot Springs, Merced, Yuba City, Tulare, Farmersville, Tehachapi, ChicoLocation Status: Work will be primarily performed onsite at our office or remotely by telecommuting from your home office 2 - 4 days per week. Employee may be required to utilize personal phone or internet services to perform telecommuting with reimbursement. The Fleet Admin maintains a detailed database of all vehicles and their maintenance records, managing fuel and maintenance expenses, and overseeing the dispatch of vehicles to various locations. The Fleet Admin is also responsible for scheduling repairs and maintenance, managing the company's fuel card program, and monitoring driver behavior and performance. The role requires excellent communication skills, as the Fleet Admin will be responsible for coordinating with various teams within the company, including HR, IT, Finance, and Operations. Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to support emergency response, outage restoration, and urgent maintenance for 24/7 RequirementsQualifications and Experience: Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorshipMinimum of 18 years of ageAssociate degree (A.A.) in a related field of study is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience will be consideredA valid driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory At least 2-3 years of experience in fleet management or a related fieldExperience with vehicle maintenance and repair, fuel management, and asset tracking systemsKnowledge of local and state regulations related to fleet management and transportation a plusMastery in the use of fleet management software and data analytics tools Proficiency in the use of Fleetio and Geotab is strongly preferredProficiency in accurate and efficient data entryAvailability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to support emergency response, outage restoration, and urgent maintenance for 24/7 operationsThe ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communicationProficiency in Spanish Language desirableSkills:Proficient use of MS Office applications including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; teleconferencing applicationsFunctional use of common office equipment, computers, and office softwareEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Fleet Maintenance and Management:Monitors the allocation and safe utilization of fleet vehicles and equipmentSchedules vehicle maintenance and repair, coordinating with service providers to ensure operational readinessManages fuel cards, monitors fuel consumption in compliance with company policiesMaintains an accurate record of all vehicles, including purchase dates, service history, and resale valuesGenerates reports on fleet performance, such as fuel efficiency, vehicle utilization, and maintenance costsMay also assist with the procurement, maintenance, and disposal of fleet vehicles and equipmentDriver Management and Compliance:Ensures all drivers possess valid licenses and adhere to the company's driving standardsAssists in coordination of insurance claimsContinuous Improvement:Stays updated with the latest trends and technologies in fleet managementIdentifies new opportunities for improvement and implements best practices to optimize fleet operationsVehicle Maintenance and Travel:Maintains a clean driving record as defined by the current fleet insurance underwriter• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed to support emergency response, outage restoration, and urgent maintenance for 24/7 operations.Safety Protocols:Adheres to safety protocols and guidelines outlined in the Race employee handbook and job description to promote a safe work environmentAdditional duties as required.BenefitsWhy Join Our Team:Join a tight-knit crew-no faceless corporation vibes hereGrowth potential: promotions and new challenges are part of our DNACompetitive base salaryComprehensive Benefits Package: 100% company-paid medical and dental insurance (starting the 1st of the month following your start date), PTO (vacation, sick), 11 paid holidays, paid birthdays, 401k matching (4%)Free fiber internet service for all employees living in our service areaA culture built on integrity, mutual respect, and a shared purposeCall to Action:Let's chat.
