Director of Retirement Channel Marketing| Boston, Chicago, or New York*Hybrid schedule-Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in-office*An investment management firm offering a range of mutual funds and active ETFs is seeking a Director of Retirement Channel Marketing. Reporting to the Head of Customer Growth Marketing, this role will develop and execute targeted marketing strategies to strengthen the firm's presence within retirement channels. This position also supports their 2026 strategic initiative to expand into the Retirement/DCIO space, introducing new channel marketing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is collaborative, communicates effectively, and demonstrates a proactive, adaptable approach, contributing beyond defined responsibilities to support both team and business objectives.Responsibilities:Shape and lead the retirement channel marketing strategy, aligning with firm-wide business goals and ensuring integration across Broker-Dealer, RIA, retirement platforms, regional bank, and consulting segmentsWork with National Accounts, Sales, and Product leadership to translate growth objectives into targeted marketing plans that enhance advisor engagement and drive net new retirement channel flowsOversee the development and execution of integrated, data-driven campaigns that effectively position the firms retirement solutions across intermediary channels, leveraging segmentation and insights for measurable impactPartner with Insights to build a structured performance measurement framework, incorporating analytics, segmentation performance, and advisor engagement metricsLead cross-functional collaboration with Customer Growth, Creative, Digital, Content, Brand Marketing, and Compliance teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and brand-consistent marketing programsRepresent the "brand" internally and externally, building strategic relationships with distribution partners and ensuring alignment on co-branded initiatives and firm-level marketing activitiesContinuously refine marketing processes and tools to improve scalability, efficiency, and alignment with enterprise-level marketing technology systemsRequirements:Bachelor's degree10+ years of industry marketing experience; retirement marketing experience preferredFinancial services experience required, ideally within the asset management spaceDeep understanding of the retirement ecosystem, including how recordkeepers, advisors, and consultants evaluate and implement investment options across vehicles (mutual funds, CITs, and separate accounts), with the ability to translate technical distinctions into compliant marketing narrativesProven ability and willingness to lead and support initiatives with a collaborative, hands-on mindsetStrong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to team and organizational goalsResponsive and thoughtful in managing external firm/client requests, advocating effectively for both clientsResults-driven, leveraging quantitative and qualitative data to inform and enhance marketing initiativesCreative thinker with enthusiasm for generating and presenting new ideasThrives in a fast-paced, start-up environment; adaptable, proactive, resourceful, and efficientEffective and collaborative in working across teams and departmentsExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsHighly organized with strong project management skills; able to work independently and manage tight deadlinesThe target salary range is 140,000 to 185,000, plus a performance-based sales incentive bonus and a company-wide bonus tied to overall organizational success.
