MUSCOGEE ( CREEK) AND INDIAN PREFERENCE. General Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Community Research and Development, the Program Supervisor will assist in the day-to-day operations. Direct and implements plans, organization, and coordinates special projects by performing the following duties personally or through subordinates. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Interviews, hires, and trains new personnel. Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations. Assist with budget planning and financial management for program. Process forms and requests, including but not limited to, expenditures, mail logs, travel requests, purchase requisitions, and supply orders. Assist in drafting, editing, and preparing policies and policy changes. Maintain complete and accurate written records, and prepare required reports. Assist in planning, organizing, and execution of educational programs in areas of board training. Working with various departments in planning, coordinating, and completing minor maintenance projects within the Communities. Assign work based on submitted work orders; follow up to ensure work orders are completed satisfactorily and within a reasonable time frame. Assist in coordinating community events and quarterly trainings Work with program staff to develop projects for Chartered Communities. Conduct meeting, elections, and community events; as needed, when CR& D performs community oversight responsibilities. Position is a Disaster Service Worker and is required to respond to disasters affecting MCN properties. May require working evening, weekends or holidays due to emergencies. Must report to work on a regular and timely basis. Performs other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Requirements: Education: Associates Degree in Business Administration and three to four year' s related experience and/ or training Experience: Three years in management, proficient in MUNIS, knowledge of MCN chartered communities, and have public speaking/ presentation experience Special skills: Experience working in a diverse multi- cultural organization. Knowledge of the Muscogee ( Creek) Nation. Preference: Muscogee and Indian preference. Valid Oklahoma Driver' s License required?
