An 8-week contract opportunity is available for a licensed pharmacist to support the Emergency Department in Palo Verde, CA. This role requires working every Thursday through Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling 48 hours per week. Some on-call shifts during night hours will also be required. Responsibilities include providing clinical pharmacy services specifically for the Emergency Department, responding to Code Blue events promptly, compounding both sterile and non-sterile medications as needed, and acting as a clinical resource for nursing staff and patients. The Emergency Department is currently the only clinical department in operation, with backup from laboratory, radiology, and cardiology services. Qualifications: Valid California Pharmacist license Hospital inpatient pharmacy experience strongly preferred Demonstrated skills in sterile and non-sterile compounding Ability to respond swiftly to emergency situations such as Code Blue calls Strong clinical knowledge to support nursing staff and patient care Location: Palo Verde, California This contract runs approximately from early March through early May.
