As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for computed tomography (CT) imaging exams, recording patient histories, operating the CT scanner, and evaluating images for quality control. The ideal candidate for this role should possess excellent communication skills, ability to work with diverse patient population, and excellent technical skills. Additionally, you must be able to work alone and with a team and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities: Prepare patients for CT imaging exams by explaining the procedure and answering their questionsRecord patient histories and review relevant medical recordsOperate the CT scanner and select appropriate protocolsEvaluate images for quality controlUtilize appropriate radiation safety techniquesMaintain accurate records and documentation requirementsKnowledge of CT scanning and imaging techniquesRequirements: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology or related fieldCT certification BLS, ARRT (CT)Active licensure in the state you are applying to1+ years of experience as a CT TechnologistStrong communication and excellent customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in the use of medical imaging softwareApply today to learn more about what TACT can offer you!
