We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Crown Point, IN where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements: Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current Indiana respiratory care license in good standing.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.Minimum 2 years experience as a registered respiratory therapist, with critical care and general medical floor experience preferred.BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.Experience with mechanical ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment such as PB980, Servo U, V60, Airvo 2, Optiflow JR, Metaneb, and Volara preferred.Experience with EPIC or similar EMR preferred.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Hospital.Shift Name: Evenings.Shift Details: Evenings 1400-0200.Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36.Weekend Requirement: rotating every other weekend.Call Requirements: none.Patient Population: critical care and general medical floor patients.Number of Beds on Unit: 200.Location HighlightsCrown Point, IN offers a suburban lifestyle with convenient access to regional attractions.
