High School Campus Supervision Aide Blue Springs School District 2026-2027 School YearPosition Summary: The job of Campus Supervisor is done for the purpose of maintaining campus safety and order by monitoring student behavior in common areas (hallways, breakfast, lunch, parking lots), enforcing rules, managing visitors, handling minor conflicts, assisting with emergencies, and documenting incidents or rule violations, working to limit distractions and ensure positive learning environment. This job reports to Building Principal or his/her designee. This position is a Full Time (179 Agreement Days, 7.5 hrs./day) benefits eligible position. The salary range for this position is $26,418 to $36,084. Salary will be commensurate with full time, parallel years of experience. Essential Functions: Aids the immediate administration of first aid and health assistance as instructed by a health care professional (e.g., cuts, bruises, etc.) for the purpose of meeting immediate health care needs. Assists with the administration of Standard Response Protocol Drills for the purpose of ensuring a safe school environment. Participates in training, meetings, and in-service presentations (e.g., first aid, CPR, emergency procedures, classroom management, etc.) for the purpose of acquiring and/or conveying information related to job functions. Assists in monitoring Video Management Software (Salient) or the Access Control Monitoring Software (LENEL Monitors common areas during the school day and hallway passing time (breakfast and lunch areas, hallways, parking lots) to ensure students have proper approval. Monitor entry (start of school day) and exit points (dismissal) for visitors and students for the purpose of ensuring proper check in. Escorts visitors and/or students to and from destination in building to ensure security. Assists in monitoring all external doors for the purpose of ensuring that entrances and exits are locked and secure. Supervise students when staff members need breaks providing consistent structure. Reports incidents relating to specific students (e.g., health concerns, accidents, fights, inappropriate social behavior, violations of rules, safety conditions, etc.) for the purpose of communicating information to appropriate instructional and/or administrative personnel and ensuring the safety of students. Responds to emergency situations (e.g., injured student, fights, etc.) for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns and/or directing to appropriate personnel for resolution. Other Functions: Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
