This full-time position as a School Psychologist is based in Beatrice, NE, with a start date of August 3rd. The role involves working within a school district setting, managing a caseload of over 900 students ranging from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. Key responsibilities include: Administering and interpreting psycho-educational assessments to determine eligibility for special services in accordance with Nebraska Rule 51. Leading problem-solving initiatives through the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) at various levels including district-wide, building, and individual student interventions. Facilitating Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and collaborating with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop targeted intervention plans. Providing consultation to teachers, parents, and administrators on issues related to child development, mental health, and effective classroom management strategies. Delivering individual and group counseling to students with verified behavioral or emotional needs. Desired qualifications: Valid Nebraska Department of Education certification with a K-12 School Psychologist Field Endorsement.
