American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist / Rad Tech with 3+ years of CT and radiography experience for a 13-week acute care contract in Lisbon, ND.Job Details• Acute care hospital setting in a combined CT/X-Ray department,• Department includes 1 X-ray room, 1 CT room, portable, and fluoroscopy equipment,• Toshiba CT scanner utilized in the department,• Common imaging studies include traumas, strokes, chest pain, isolation cases, C-arm, and DEXA,• Will cover both CT and X-ray,• IVs may need to be started if not already placed by an RN,• MEDITECH EMR used in this position,• 8-hour rotating day shifts; shift options include 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, and 9:00 AM-5:30 PM,• Weekend rotation every 3-5 weekends,• Holiday coverage required every 4th holiday,• On-call/standby requirement with a 15-minute response time for trauma and stroke,Job Requirements• Minimum 3 years of CT and Rad Tech experience required,• Active ARRT certification required; pending certifications not accepted,• Active BLS required; pending certifications not accepted,• Active state or compact (NLC) license for the state of submission required; pending licenses not accepted - license required if applicable,• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility,• Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the past year - candidates employed PRN through outside firms will be considered,• Driver's license required for consideration,• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire,Additional Information• Perform CT and general radiography imaging including traumas, strokes, chest pain, C-arm, DEXA, and isolation cases,• Radiology supervisor or lead tech is present on each shift,• Orientation length varies based on individual experience,• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• No scrub color requirement; scrubs are not provided,• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach are key to success in this department,• Up to 7 days of RTO may be requested upfront for a 13-week contract; additional RTO will not be approved
