We're looking for polished and welcoming Maitre D' to join our team! As a Maitre D', you will oversee the flow of service by managing reservations, walk-ins, and seating assignments while maintaining a polished and professional presence. Your role is key in ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet guests warmly and manage check-ins for reservations and walk-insOrganize and oversee the reservation book to maximize seating efficiencyMaintain cleanliness and organization of the entrance area and venueAssist with incoming calls and answer guest inquiriesStrategically seat guests to balance service and enhance the guest experienceSupport the dining room team with initial table setup and guest accommodationsPrepare and organize menus, ensuring all materials are updated and availableFollow all opening, closing, and sanitation proceduresCommunicate effectively with management, kitchen, and service staff to ensure seamless operationsLead by example, demonstrating professionalism and teamworkRequirements/Qualifications:Previous hospitality experience requiredProficient with Open Table which is the FOH dining reservation platformPrior Maitre D' or front-of-house leadership experience preferredExperience in a high-volume restaurant, lounge, or nightclub environmentStrong organizational, multitasking, and communication skillsAbility to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced settingProfessional appearance and demeanorMust be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periodsFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysNo job description for any position can possibly include all duties which may be requested by guests or required by the needs of the hotel.
