This position would transition half of the day to assist the LMC (Library Media Center) Director in maintaining student discipline and instruction. They may escort children to and from various instructional areas or rooms.Handles reports and related clerical functions with the LMC Director including daily attendance and student assessment of academic or behavioral progress. Keeps daily logs of student behavior and learning as directed by the LMC Director.Tutor students individually or in small groups to reinforce and follow up any learning activity.Serves as a source of information and help to any substitute teacher.Participates in in-service training programs as assignedAdvises the LMC Director or principal immediately of the existence of any problems deemed to warrant prompt attention, advice, or intervention.Performs special assignments and other duties as determined by the classroom teacher or school administration.
