Roles & ResponsibilitiesPerforms dimensional inspections for all departments as needed.Performs miscellaneous duties as required.Operates and properly maintains precision measuring equipment.Notifies appropriate personnel of dimensional discrepancies as they occur.Utilizes and understands blueprints and specifications as related to physical and dimensional properties.Performs process inspections in the molding area; performs molding related projects as necessary.Evaluates data and prepares necessary reports.Observes all safety and environmental procedures and Quality System Regulations.Programs automated measurement equipment to automate inspection routines where appropriate.Experience RequiredUse of measurement toolsMinimum of 1 yearSkills & CertificationsKnowledge of precision measuring instruments and interpretation of blueprints and specifications.Good interpersonal and written skillsKnowledge of computers with ability to run software such as Windows based spreadsheets.Experience with measurement tools such as video measurement desirable.Ability to be trained in programming automated measurement equipment.Eligibilities & qualificationsH.S.
