Job Title Code: 02084 Salary Range: E01/120 $15.00 Flat Rate Department: Early Childhood Reports To: Director of Early Learning Location: Various/Pre-K Shift Type: Part Time FLSA Status: Non Exempt Position Summary: What You'll Be Doing: (Responsibilities) * Promote and support children's social, emotional and physical development consistent with the philosophy of the Office of Early Learning * Work with Pre-K instructors to effectively plan, coordinate and carry out child care activities. * Complete required planning during designated planning time during the work day. * Monitor the arrival and departure of the students. * Maintain a safe transition procedure when moving children from one area of the school to another. * Keep daily records of student attendance and maintain daily attendance logs for all classroom volunteers. * Report all staffing and classrooms concerns and any unsafe conditions to supervisor in a timely manner. * Other duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None To Be Successful at This Job, You'll Need To: (Qualifications) * High School diploma or G.E.D. and previous experience with and/or training for working with children in a learning environment. * Desire to work with children ages three and four.
