This opportunity is for a skilled EEG Technologist specializing in neurodiagnostic procedures within a dynamic hospital environment. The role focuses on performing advanced EEG and Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IOM) to assist in diagnosing neurological disorders. This position requires a dedicated professional ready to work 10-hour shifts every weekend, supporting both inpatient and outpatient cases. Location: Oshkosh, WI, with float opportunities to nearby medical facilities within the regional health system. Nestled near beautiful Lake Winnebago, the area offers a blend of small-town charm and access to outdoor activities, cultural events, and community amenities. Responsibilities: Conduct EEG, cEEG, EP, NCV, and IOM tests in various clinical settings. Collaborate with physicians to assist in the diagnosis of brain and nervous system disorders. Recognize and manage artifacts during testing to ensure high-quality results. Maintain, troubleshoot, and operate neurodiagnostic equipment. Document patient responses and ensure proper reporting of symptoms and concerns. Provide technical education and support to technologists and students. Manage schedules, billing, and phone coverage related to neurodiagnostic services. Participate in a holiday rotation and adhere to on-call/call-back protocols. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Associate's degree or graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Neurodiagnostic program. Minimum two years of experience with EEG and IOM in a hospital setting. Registered EEG Technologist (R.EEG) and/or CNIM certification required. AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLSS) certification. Experience with Epic electronic medical records preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Comfortable with flexible scheduling including weekends, holidays, and call shifts. Schedule: 10-hour shifts, Thursday through Sunday (07:30 AM to 06:00 PM). Weekend shifts required every week. On-call duties Monday through Sunday with a 30-minute response time. Contract Details: Contract assignment length: 12 weeks. Guaranteed 40 hours per week. Immediate start available.
