Together, we champion continuous innovation and collaboration in our shared mission to redefine senior care across the country.Position Details:Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Physician with Board Certification in Psychiatry to collaborate with and oversee Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician Assistants providing psychiatric services in Long Term Care facilities. This physician will ensure the highest standards of behavioral health, psychiatric, and psychotropic medication management, while supporting regulatory compliance and clinical excellence across the organization.Responsibilities:Clinical oversight and collaboration with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners and/or Physician AssistantsTwice Monthly meetings/check-ins with assigned psychiatric practitionersPhone supervision of assigned Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants delivering psychiatric careProvide consultation to providers via electronic communication (phone, email, telehealth, etc.)Review psychiatric evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and medication management documentationSupport appropriate diagnosis and treatment of common behavioral health conditions, including but not limited to schizophrenia, bipolar, schizoaffective and other serious mental illnesses, depression, anxiety, dementia-related behavioral disturbances, psychosis, and mood disordersGuide best practices related to psychotropic medication use, monitoring, and deprescribing when appropriateCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, including primary care providers, nursing staff, and facility leadershipExecute and ensure compliance with State-to-State collaboration and/or supervision requirements and applicable scope-of-practice regulationsSupervise practitioner prescription of Schedule II-V controlled substances where allowed by State Law.Requirements:Medical Degree (MD/DO)Board Certification in Psychiatry (preferred) or completion of a ACGME or AOA psychiatric residency program in the United StatesMulti-state licensure and/or IMLCC participation a plusClinical experience in psychiatry, psychology, or behavioral healthExperience working with or collaborating alongside Advanced Practice ProvidersStrong leadership, communication, and clinical judgment skillsCommitment to quality improvement and evidence-based psychiatric careExperience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric setting (preferred)Comfort with remote collaboration and electronic medical record reviewTravel requirements may vary by collaboration needsEEO/AAP Statement:Infinite Medical P.C. is an equal-opportunity employer.
