Description Nuvance Health has an excellent opportunity for a per diem Hospitalist at Sharon Hospital in Sharon, CT to join our established and successful program. This is an excellent employed opportunity to work independently and with autonomy at a small community hospital in a beautiful location. Sharon Hospital is located in northwestern Connecticut in Litchfield County, near the New York State border. Sharon Hospital has 78 general hospital beds and provides a full range of services including: cardiology, cardiopulmonary, emergency care, imaging, intensive care, neurosciences, orthopedics, pain management, stroke care, surgical, women's services and wound care. Located in scenic Litchfield County, Sharon is a community with many beautiful and small hamlets. Sharon offers a plethora of community and family activities against a backdrop of local attractions, from hiking, biking, and museums to restaurants, cafés and local farmers markets, there are endless ways to spend your leisure time. Excellent housing and outstanding schools can be found throughout the area, with easy access to New York City which is less than 90 miles.
