Pharmacy Program Manager - Medication Safety Location: Portland, OR Employment Type: Full-TimeWe are seeking an experienced Program Manager, Medication Safety to lead and coordinate medication safety initiatives within a hospital and healthcare system setting. This role partners with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies that reduce medication errors and improve patient outcomes through strong system design and safety practices.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee all medication safety activities across the organizationReview medication-related safety events and adverse drug reaction reportsIdentify opportunities for system improvements and risk reductionDevelop and implement interdisciplinary error-prevention strategiesProvide education and support to clinical staff on medication safety best practicesCollaborate with pharmacy leadership, physicians, nursing, and quality teamsRequired QualificationsBachelor's Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy or Master's Degree in PharmacyPharmD preferredActive Oregon Pharmacist License upon hireMinimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent residency experienceStrong knowledge of medication safety and regulatory standardsCompensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $170,553 - $245,073 (based on experience)Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement plan, paid time off, and wellness resources
