Our education programs equip immigrant populations with the knowledge to help them navigate the complexities of living in a new city and transition into post-secondary education and/or employment opportunities.Under the direction of the Director of Programs, the Manager of Community Mental Health ensures the delivery of excellent and effective mental health services for the public, as well as creating avenues of access so that people in the Sunset Park community can benefit from the services that are available. This may include evaluating community needs in order to create applicable services for that community.DutiesProvides direct, individual clinical supervision for licensed and unlicensed clinical staff supporting mental health assessments and counseling.Provides oversight of all clinical processes for mental health services, including staffing difficult individual situations, reviewing all adverse incidents, and assisting with decisions regarding levels of care and risk assessment.Evaluates case histories to determine the effects of current mental health services. Monitors caseloads and ensures that staff comply with all RaisingHealth and clinical, legal, and ethical practices.Reviews community needs through surveys and individual interactions. Develops new mental health services and programs based on community requirements in coordination with the Director of Programs.Reviews and co-signs supervised clinicians' progress notes, clinical forms, and correspondences, when indicated. Provides ongoing, regular feedback and evaluation to clinicians on the quality and timeliness of their clinical work as well as their caseload. Solicits feedback from clinicians regarding supervision and whether needs are being met. Provides administrative oversight and monitoring of the grant billable hours requirement. Provides support, training, and remediation where needed to assist staff in meeting the program's goals, caseload requirements, charting, record keeping, documentation standards, and all other quality assurance standards. Develops and manages contracts with providers to ensure quality of care, fiscal accountability, and compliance with all regulations and program guidelines.Advances RaisingHealth's mission, philosophy, and commitment to the community by embracing these values and demonstrating them in everyday activities.Requirements5-7 years of demonstrated proficiency in planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating a mental health service or similar health-related program. Experience in a non-profit or community-based setting is highly preferred. 2 years of experience in staff supervision is required, including professional development, training, mentoring, and supporting staff one-on-one to meet programmatic goals. Possess, at minimum, a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or equivalent field, plus specialized training in supervision.The following licensure or certification is required: LPC and LPCMH / LMHC, LCSW, LCPC, LCADC, and credentialed as a clinical supervisor. Experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and community partners. Ability to empathize, advocate, and represent the needs of the community served by RaisingHealth. Computer literate. Excellent command of the MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Candidates with bilingual Spanish or Mandarin skills are highly preferred. Salary $66,300 - $66,300 per year
