The Registered Nurse (RN) on the 3W Ortho unit will provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic surgeries and treatments. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting. Job specificationCandidate requirementsJob specification Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing orthopedic procedures. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Monitor and interpret vital signs, symptoms, and diagnostic results. Assist with diagnostic tests, procedures, and post-operative care. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and post-care instructions. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Candidate requirements Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. 1 year of experience in orthopedic nursing or a related field. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and patient-focused approach. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
