Currently, we are seeking a detail-oriented Title Examiner for the Waxahachie area with experience in residential title examinations and exposure to acreage and light commercial properties. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, self-motivated, and passionate about research and problem-solving. The Title Examiner is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include: Perform comprehensive title examinations on residential properties, including complex chains of title. Review acreage and light commercial properties for ownership, encumbrances, restrictions, and legal descriptions. Analyze public records, legal documents, and historical property data to determine marketable title. Identify title defects, liens, judgments, easements, and other encumbrances. Prepare clear, accurate, and detailed title reports. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve title issues and ensure smooth closings. Maintain accuracy while managing multiple files and deadline. Required qualifications for the position include: Strong experience in residential title examinations required. Exceptional research and analytical skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to interpret legal descriptions, deeds, and recorded documents. Strong organizational and time-management skills. High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred qualifications for the position include: Experience with acreage and light commercial transactions preferred. Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location.
