A 13-week contract opportunity is available for an experienced IV Certified Pharmacy Technician specializing in oncology infusion. This role supports chemotherapy preparation and administration at a reputable infusion center in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outpatient oncology pharmacy operations, particularly with chemotherapy and hematology treatments. Responsibilities: Prepare and handle chemotherapy medications accurately within the outpatient oncology infusion setting. Administer chemotherapy under protocol, including some hematology treatments (no blood transfusions required). Perform IV starts and access implanted ports to assist with infusion procedures. Ensure compliance with safety, sterility, and regulatory standards in all pharmacy operations. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in oncology and infusion environments. Current Georgia pharmacy technician license. IV certification with demonstrated competency in oncology and chemotherapy infusions. Prior experience with outpatient oncology chemotherapy preparation and infusion. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Location: Atlanta, Georgia (candidates living outside a 50-mile radius from the facility are preferred) Additional Information: Travel within a shortened 50-mile radius required; local candidates within this radius will not be considered.
