Perform specialized breast imaging examinations utilizing advanced mammography technology in a serene Northern California setting. This contract opportunity, lasting 13 weeks, offers a consistent Monday through Thursday schedule with no call, weekend, or holiday duties-perfect for work-life balance. Position Details: Schedule: 4 ten-hour day shifts, Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Equipment: Volpara MRS system, Hologic Mammography unit, GE Dexa Machine No evening, weekend, or holiday shifts Contract Duration: 13 weeks Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic and screening mammograms with precision and care Assist radiologists in breast biopsies and intricate mammography exams Provide patient education to ensure comfort and privacy throughout procedures Produce high-quality imaging for diagnostic evaluation and complete accompanying documentation Maintain infection control and safety protocols Collaborate with clinical staff by escalating questions or issues as needed Fulfill additional related duties as assigned Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required ARRT certifications in Radiography (ARRT-R) and Mammography (ARRT-M) Current California CRT license mandatory Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience with mammography preferred Familiarity with fluoroscopy and venipuncture certifications preferred This contract offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge mammography technology in a supportive environment that values clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
