Get to Know Your Team: * Hillcrest Hospital Henryetta is a 30-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including cardiology, emergency, women's services, cardiology, general surgery, rehabilitation, withdrawal stabilization and surgery. * Calibrate and draw up radiopharmaceutical materials for administration to patients; formulate radiopharmaceutical materials from pre-prepared kits. * Calibrate instruments and review calibration data to detect trends indicating instrument malfunction * Calculate data to include results of patient studies and radioactive decay * Evaluate and record images for technical quality * Process computerized image data to include function curves and reconstructed SPECT images * Maintain inventory of supplies assigned to the area; prepare and maintain records concerning radiopharmaceutical receiving, dispensing, and disposal activities * Perform required QA/QC functions, including monitoring the Nuclear Medicine Department with a portable Geiger Counter for possible contamination * Perform nuclear cardiology studies including image acquisition and processing and monitoring patient vital signs Job Requirements: * Graduate of an accredited two-year radiologic technology program with advanced training and certification in Nuclear Medicine * ARRT (NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board * BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. * Competency in compounds of Nuclear Medicine practice
