The Imaging Informatics Specialist III is responsible for the day-to-day support, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the Radiology and Cardiology PACS system as well as other support systems used within the Imaging Services departments. Additionally, is responsible for all communications between PACS vendors and Department. Will be involved with EPIC interfacing between PACS. PACS System Administrator interfaces with technologists, Radiology Administration, and Physicians. Prepares reports for department administrator, assists in planning for and installing system hardware and software upgrades and provides system training for new users. Required Knowledge & Skills Education: Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework Experience: Five years of related experience. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures. Manages application connectivity and installation, testing (new, upgrades & fixes), monitoring, support end user processes and ongoing support.
