Services include primary care, specialty medical and surgical care, mental health services, rehabilitation, and community-based outpatient clinics. The facility maintains an academic affiliation with Dartmouth's Geisel School of Medicine, supporting residency training, research collaboration, and a strong interdisciplinary clinical environment. General Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including routine radiography (e.g., chest, extremities, spine, abdomen). Position patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and safety. Operate and maintain radiographic equipment in accordance with departmental and regulatory standards. Apply radiation protection principles (ALARA) to minimize patient and staff exposure. Review physician orders and patient history to determine appropriate imaging protocols. Ensure proper patient identification and informed consent procedures. Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to adverse reactions or medical emergencies. Evaluate images for quality and repeat studies when necessary to ensure diagnostic value. Maintain accurate documentation in PACS, RIS, and electronic medical record systems. Follow infection control and safety protocols. Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Participate in quality assurance, equipment calibration checks, and continuing education activities. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (R). Current state licensure (as required by state regulations). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, physiology, and radiation physics. Ability to operate imaging equipment and related software systems.
