A community hospital in need of professional pharmacy support is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract opportunity based in Lapoint, UT. This position offers the chance to contribute to a dedicated healthcare team at a ~40-bed community hospital and Level IV trauma center, providing vital pharmacy services that impact patient care daily. Key Responsibilities: Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently. Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations. Perform pharmacokinetic monitoring for patient-specific medication dosing. Consult regularly with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy. Support inpatient pharmacy functions to enhance patient safety and care quality. Qualifications and Experience: Must hold an active Utah Pharmacist license. Approximately 1 year of current inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Detail-oriented with clinical decision-making capabilities. Schedule and Duration: Work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts per week, from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Position starts ASAP. Contract length is approximately 13 weeks with the potential to transition to temp-to-hire.
