You will have the opportunity to lead EHS improvement in a seven-day-per-week operation supporting National Defense, Aviation, and Emergency Response. The ideal candidate will have professional EHS experience in a manufacturing environment along with training, education, and/or certification in Environmental, Health, and Safety practices. Experience with OSHA regulations, ISO 14001, project management, and process planning is strongly preferred. This position will be responsible for all EHS programs for personnel at the manufacturing facility and in the field. The role will work closely with the Business Unit General Manager to drive significant improvements in our EHS culture and safety performance. Job Knowledge / Skills Required * Experience:At least five (5) years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. * Certifications: Safety certifications such as CSP or CIH strongly preferred. * Regulations: In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements. * Project Management: Proven experience in project management and process planning. * Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation abilities, and computer proficiency including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Interpersonal Skills:Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to implement collaborative, win-win solutions. * Travel: Ability to travel to customer job sites (<10%).
