This position supports clinical operations, enhances patient care coordination, and ensures compliance with regulatory and billing requirements.This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional seeking stability, growth, and meaningful contribution within a well-supported healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately enter and maintain radiology orders, patient demographics, and imaging results within RIS/EHR systemsVerify data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with documentation standardsMaintain and update radiology records to ensure data integrity and accessibilityCollaborate with technologists, physicians, and administrative staff to support workflow efficiencyReview imaging documentation for discrepancies and resolve errors proactivelyEnsure strict adherence to HIPAA and organizational privacy policiesAssist with scheduling coordination, report tracking, and medical record retrievalSupport billing processes through accurate data entry and coding alignmentGenerate reports and participate in routine data auditsMaintain confidentiality of all patient and organizational informationQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED requiredAssociate degree in Health Information Management, Medical Office Administration, or related field preferredCMAA (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant) or RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) preferredExperience1-3 years of data entry experience requiredPrior experience in a healthcare or radiology setting strongly preferredFamiliarity with EHR, RIS, and PACS systems preferredSkills & CompetenciesExceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong typing and data entry proficiencyWorking knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in radiologyProficiency with Microsoft Office and healthcare systemsStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and regulatory complianceEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to perform in a fast-paced clinical environmentWork Environment & Physical RequirementsPrimarily sedentary, office-based workFrequent use of computers and standard office equipmentRepetitive hand and finger movementsOccasional lifting up to 10 poundsProfessional clinical environment with routine workflow demands Growth & DevelopmentWe are committed to investing in our team members' long-term success.
