We foster programs in the areas of basic, translational, mechanistic and population research. Position Summary The Philpot laboratory develops therapeutics for single gene disorders. We are seeking a research technician to perform research tasks in the lab as well as help with lab management duties. Research tasks will include performing mouse behavioral experiments, mouse colony organization and breeding, histological assays (e.g. immunocytochemistry), confocal microscopy, tissue collections and processing (dissections, sectioning, immunohistochemistry), and data analysis. This position will require animal handling. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
