The Logistics Specialist supports end-to-end ocean container movements across 2 ports, serving as a key point of coordination between port terminals, terminal points of contact, and contracted carriers. This role oversees container tracking through a relay-based logistics program that leverages small, time-based trucking partners-similar to an Uber model for freight-using algorithm-driven load pricing to move containers efficiently between locations. Responsibilities include managing each leg of container movement, from out-gating at the port, transport to off-dock yards, delivery to fulfillment centers, and returning empty containers back to terminals for reloading.
