Identify potential funding opportunities with federal, state, and private funders and disseminate information to the university community. Provide direct support and oversight to applicants during proposal preparation to ensure applications for funding are complete, competitive and in compliance with funder and University requirements. Submit proposals on behalf of the University. Review and approve all financial transactions requested on each assigned award in order to assure allowability, allocability, and reasonableness. Conduct periodic comprehensive desk review/audit of each assigned award to ensure proper and effective administration, including fiscal stewardship and policy compliance, pursuant to funded statement of work, funded budget, award terms & conditions, policies, procedures, and guidelines of the sponsors and the University.
