Job Title

Pay: $41,600 - $72,225 a year Job Description: Trans-System currently has an opening for a Fleet Manager. The Fleet Manager is responsible for the supervision of drivers in a profitable, professional, and safety-oriented manner. Duties include, but are not limited to: * Manages with safety in mind. Commits to protecting drivers, customers and community unconditionally. Adheres to TSI/DOT policies and procedures. * Acts as a liaison between Drivers, Dispatch, and Customer Service to keep all personnel informed of issues that my impact customer expectations and or Driver needs. Maintains contact with 30-45 Drivers on a daily basis. * Meets or exceeds fleet specific performance goals and on time service standards. (Miles, /dispatches per week). * Works with Driver's personal needs to ensure Driver satisfaction and retention. * Maintains a high level of professionalism with Driver's. * Makes sure Drivers are given complete dispatch with expectations of loads, equipment needs, directions, phone numbers, fuel routing/solutions. * Monitors and updates weekly KPI reports. * Works with Safety department to keep fleets current with DOT and TSI requirements. (HOS, drug testing, physicals, licenses, training, etc.) * Monitors efficiency and productivity reports. (% idle, mpg, hard brakes, % under dispatch). * Conducts driver annual reviews in a timely fashion. Provides continuous direction, review of Driver performance, and discipline of Drivers as necessary. Ensures that all Drivers are meeting the expectations and standards of TSI. * Verifies Driver and Broker have correct paperwork for border crossing or port entry when applicable. Completes manifest form for US bound shipments.
