This role offers the opportunity to lead with compassion, collaborate across departments, and contribute to a culture of inclusion and proactive care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide primary nursing services, including treatment, education, and preventive care.Support clinical operations and compliance with OSHA, CLIA, FERPA, and HIPAA standards.Administer immunizations and assist with physician/nurse practitioner appointments.Perform lab tests, manage equipment, and coordinate follow-up care.Collaborate with campus leadership to ensure health policy compliance and student support.Assist with outreach programming, health education, and departmental reporting.Cover administrative duties as needed and respond to campus emergencies.QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing required; Master's degree and Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant certification preferred.Active RN license and certification in Tennessee (in good standing).Minimum five years of nursing experience, preferably in a clinic setting.CPR/AED certification and current immunizations required.Experience with Medicat EMR system and supervising nursing staff.Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving mitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical care.Ideal Candidate AttributesIndependent and proactive leadership style.Ability to mediate and resolve wellness and risk management concerns.Experience in higher education or student affairs is a fortable working in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment.Skilled in building partnerships across campus and with external terested in hearing more?
