The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County is seeking a passionate and qualified Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient counseling program. Reporting to the Director of Counseling Services, this position provides psychotherapeutic services to children, youth, and adults. Evening availability is required.Key Responsibilities:Maintain a minimum caseload of ten (10) clientsProvide psychotherapeutic interventions in individual and family settings using strength-based therapy modalitiesConduct clinical assessments and psychosocial historiesCollaborate with clients and families to develop treatment goals and plansDevelop crisis and safety plans in partnership with clients and familiesComplete timely and accurate progress notes and outcome documentationAssist clients and families in accessing community resources and supportsCoordinate care through collaboration with internal and external providersParticipate in community outreach activities within Monmouth CountyAttend team meetings and weekly clinical supervisionComplete all required training in compliance with agency and state regulationsQualifications:Master's degree in a recognized mental health disciplineAll levels of licensure considered (LAC, LSW, LPC, LCSW); fully licensed clinicians preferredWillingness to work with children and adolescents requiredAvailability to work evening hours requiredAbout the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County: Established in 1950, the Mental Health Association of Monmouth County is an affiliate of the Mental Health Association in New Jersey and Mental Health America.
