This opportunity is for a Per Diem Pharmacist specializing in home infusion pharmacy services within a closed-door environment. The role is based in New Buffalo, MI, providing critical coverage from March 30 to April 6. The position requires a focus on accuracy, patient communication, and leadership, ensuring seamless preparation and shipment of prescriptions. Schedule/Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday Key Responsibilities: Verify and prepare prescriptions accurately for shipment, ensuring quality and compliance. Communicate proactively with patients regarding upcoming medication orders. Assist in managing pharmacy technicians, including one full-time and one part-time technician, to support workflow efficiency. Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software to manage prescription processing and record-keeping. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Michigan Pharmacist license. Minimum of 2 years' experience as a pharmacist, with a preference for those who have worked in a home infusion pharmacy setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to supervise and collaborate effectively with pharmacy support staff. Volume and Environment: Handling approximately 30 packages per week, each containing 5-15 prescriptions. Work within a closed-door home infusion pharmacy, supporting a specialized patient population.
