A staff pharmacist position is available on a per diem basis in the New Iberia, Louisiana area, with a start date of March 20th. This role focuses on providing safe and efficient medication dispensing while maintaining compliance with pharmacy standards. Responsibilities: Dispense medications accurately under the direct supervision of the manager. Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, following organizational guidelines. Manage inventory, including stock and controlled substances, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory compliance. Utilize PioneerRx software for medication dispensing and record keeping. Qualifications: Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Louisiana. Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail. Schedule: First shift: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This per diem position offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to quality patient care.
