Please find below an exciting opportunity for a prospective or current educator to join the Hoboken Public School District family!To get to know us a bit better, please visit our website and social media platforms to see the most current happenings in our amazing and diverse district:and Qualifications:Minimum of a masters degree in a counseling or related discipline requiredLicense in a mental health discipline is required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT or psychology license)Those with provisional licenses may be considered if a qualified supervisor is availablePrevious school counseling and or clinical experience preferredKnowledge of HIPPA and FERPA laws and regulationsAbility to conduct risk assessments and generate appropriate community referralsClear criminal history background check, physical and PTTProof of US citizenship or legal resident alien statusResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include coordinating with the team of school clinicians to develop and provide preventive activities. School clinicians will provide assessments, treatments, psychotherapy, clinical case management, and referrals to a broad range of students, including those, which are severely mentally ill, and those dealing with adjustment issues. Individual, family, and group therapy are available forms of treatment provided. Additionally, the licensed clinician will provide case management services and crisis intervention as needed. All services are provided in accordance with professional code of ethics.Additional Responsibilities:Maintain productive relationships with parents and other staff membersMaintain records of students' progressMaintain professional competence and pursue continuous improvement through in-service education and other professional growth activitiesParticipate in school-level planning, faculty meetings/committees, and other school system groupsMake effective use of community engagementAssume other related duties/assignments assigned by the Superintendent or Director of Special Services.Compensation: As per HEA Contract
